Provide telework-based peer review of disability claims, focusing on clinical evaluation of medical records and making advisory opinions rather than treating patients. This work is primarily administrative and can be completed from home with flexible scheduling. Initial training and ongoing support are provided to help with review workflows and case completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Review disability claims and related medical records to form advisory-only clinical opinions.
- Evaluate cases based on scheduled availability and selected volume.
- Conduct independent peer reviews without establishing a doctor-patient relationship.
- Use a streamlined work portal to complete documentation and case determinations.
- Coordinate with administrative support teams for records management, communication, and report delivery.
- Adhere to turnaround expectations for timely completion of reviews.
Required
- Board certification.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
Preferred
- Experience conducting disability peer reviews.
