Provide asynchronous, message-based virtual care for patients across acute, primary, and longevity needs, including diagnosis, treatment, triage, and follow-up. Most of the work happens in writing, with a focus on clear clinical reasoning, patient safety, and helping patients navigate next steps when care is outside scope. The role uses an AI-paired workflow in a custom EHR and includes collaboration on clinical guidelines, peer review, and process improvement as the team scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asynchronous patient visits for acute, primary, and longevity care concerns.
- Diagnose, treat, triage, and follow up on in-scope clinical issues.
- Use AI-supported workflows to review history, refine differential diagnosis, and draft patient messages.
- Provide clear written communication that leaves patients informed about next steps.
- Coordinate referrals or transitions to the appropriate level of care when needed.
- Participate in guideline development, peer review, and clinical systems improvement.
- Mentor newer clinicians and help raise the standard of virtual care delivery.
Required
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Membership in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with an IMLC Letter of Qualification.
- At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a strong generalist practice.
- Comfort practicing in a fully virtual, asynchronous, messaging-based care model.
- Strong written communication skills.
Preferred
- Active medical licenses in California, Florida, and/or New York.
- Prior telehealth, virtual-first, or direct-to-consumer healthcare experience.
- Experience incorporating longevity care into clinical practice.
- Familiarity with AI tools in clinical practice.
- Background in a fast-paced acute care setting where triage skills are well developed.
