Provide fully asynchronous, message-based virtual care for adults across acute, primary, and longevity-related concerns, including diagnosis, treatment, triage, and follow-up. The role centers on generalist outpatient-style medicine in a tech-enabled workflow, with support for in-scope problem solving and escalation when patients need another level of care. Clinicians also help refine clinical guidelines, peer review, and AI-assisted workflows while collaborating closely with care delivery and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asynchronous patient visits for acute, primary, and longevity care concerns
- Diagnose, treat, triage, and follow up on patient issues through written messaging
- Use AI-paired tools to review chart context, support differential thinking, and draft responses
- Provide generalist care for in-scope problems and direct patients to the next appropriate setting when needed
- Maintain a high standard for clinical reasoning, safety, and patient communication
- Coordinate with the CMO and VP of Care Delivery on guidelines, peer review, and clinical systems
- Participate in mentoring newer clinicians and improving team workflows
- Provide feedback to shape the custom EHR and AI-enabled practice tools
Required
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Membership in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with an IMLC Letter of Qualification
- At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a strong generalist mix
- Comfort working in a fully virtual, asynchronous, messaging-based care model
- Strong written communication skills
Preferred
- Active medical licenses in California, Florida, and/or New York
- Prior telehealth, virtual-first, or direct-to-consumer healthcare experience
- Experience incorporating longevity care into clinical practice
- Background in fast-paced acute care settings such as the ER or urgent care
- Familiarity with AI tools in clinical practice
