Provide fully asynchronous, message-based virtual care for patients with acute issues, primary care needs, chronic illness questions, and longevity-focused concerns. You will diagnose, treat, triage, and follow up through written encounters, using an AI-enabled EHR that helps prepare the chart and draft responses. The role also includes navigating patients to the appropriate next step in care when issues are out of scope, while helping shape clinical guidelines and workflows as the team scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asynchronous, message-based patient visits in a fully virtual setting.
- Provide care across acute, primary care, and longevity-related concerns.
- Diagnose, treat, triage, and follow up on patient issues through written communication.
- Use AI-supported tools and an in-house EHR to review charts, sharpen the differential, and draft messages.
- Coordinate referrals or next-step care when problems fall outside the virtual generalist scope.
- Participate in guideline development, peer review, and clinical systems as the team grows.
- Mentor newer clinicians and contribute to ongoing clinical quality.
- Provide patient communication that is clear, safe, and well documented in writing.
Required
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Membership in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with an active IMLC Letter of Qualification.
- At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a strong generalist mix.
- Comfort working in a fully virtual, asynchronous, messaging-based care model.
- Strong written communication skills.
Preferred
- Active medical licenses in California, Florida, and/or New York.
- Prior telehealth, virtual-first, or direct-to-consumer healthcare experience.
- Experience incorporating longevity care into clinical practice.
- Background in fast-paced acute care settings such as the emergency department or urgent care.
- Experience using AI tools in clinical practice.
