This physician leader oversees asynchronous acute, primary, and longevity care for adults in a virtual, AI-enabled primary care setting while still seeing patients regularly. The role combines direct clinical practice with physician management, program development, and clinical operations support, with a focus on chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, weight management, and metabolic health. It is a player-coach position that works closely with product, AI, and clinical operations teams to shape workflows and scale care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing physician team, including coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
- Provide direct patient care in asynchronous acute, primary, and longevity medicine as part of the leadership role.
- Conduct physician meetings and help build a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and engagement.
- Collaborate with Product and AI teams to design, launch, and improve clinical programs and workflows.
- Drive clinical and operational improvements by analyzing day-to-day challenges and supporting care delivery solutions.
- Use clinical judgment to manage complex cases and escalate when appropriate.
- Support the evolution of an AI-native care model and contribute frontline perspective to leadership decisions.
Required
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- At least 3 years of post-residency clinical practice.
- Experience managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, weight management, and metabolic health.
- Direct physician management experience, including coaching and performance management.
- Current active practice or recent direct patient care within the past 3 months.
- At least 10 active U.S. state medical licenses, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
- Experience with virtual care and asynchronous, messaging-based care.
Preferred
- 5+ years of post-residency clinical practice.
- 3+ years of physician management experience.
- Experience providing longitudinal patient care.
