Join a virtual obesity medicine program as an advisory board physician focused on shaping evidence-based weight management care for patients using medical therapy, lifestyle interventions, and multidisciplinary support. The role centers on helping refine nutrition, behavioral health, and long-term weight maintenance pathways that complement GLP-1 treatment when appropriate. This is an advisory position with periodic meetings and a low monthly time commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on lifestyle intervention strategies for obesity and metabolic health.
- Review nutrition and behavioral care pathways.
- Support patient education initiatives grounded in evidence-based practice.
- Provide guidance on long-term weight maintenance programs.
- Review emerging lifestyle medicine research.
- Participate in periodic advisory meetings.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Lifestyle Medicine.
- Experience managing obesity and chronic disease.
Preferred
- Experience with preventive care.
- Interest in digital health or virtual care models.
