Registered Nurse, Advanced Therapy Remote Patient Monitoring — Chorus Health
Clinical Operations | Reports to: Advanced Practice Provider | Full-time | New York, NY
About Us
Cell, gene, and advanced immunotherapies (what we call Advanced Therapies) are the next wave of specialty medicine. They're turning previously untreatable diseases into curable ones, and meaningfully extending life for patients who have few other options. What started in oncology and rare disease is now expanding into cardiology, neurology, and autoimmune disease — some of the largest patient populations in medicine, representing a $350B market this decade. Yet fewer than 20% of eligible patients ever receive one of these therapies.
We built Chorus Health to close that gap. Our platform gives providers an embedded, end-to-end partner for Advanced Therapies: the clinical capabilities and team to deliver care, technology that serves as the system of work for Advanced Therapy programs, and the financing to make programs sustainable, from launch to scale. We're a NYC-based team of healthcare builders, clinicians, and operators, backed by tier-one investors (Primary, 1984, Layout, and Comma Capital) and angels who've built and operated at the top of healthcare and tech.
About the Role
You'll be the first clinical touchpoint for patients moving through bispecific and CAR-T therapy, watching closely for the earliest signs that something's off, and knows exactly when to bring in the APP team.
You'll work through structured, protocol-defined check-ins: reviewing records, walking patients through standardized assessments like the ICE questionnaire, and capturing patient-reported vitals and symptoms. When something falls outside expected thresholds, you escalate promptly and clearly to the on-call Advanced Practice Provider.
Our clinical model has been proven in bispecifics across 27 outpatient clinics, doing step-up dosing with a sub-2% admission rate, but you’ll be part of the team making it possible as we scale.
This is an in-person role based in New York City.
Compensation includes a $95,000–$120,000 salary, competitive equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage, flexible time off, and a wellness budget.
What You'll Do
Assess patients on bispecific and CAR-T therapies via remote (phone and video) monitoring at protocol-defined intervals, using record review, patient-reported vitals, and standardized tools like the ICE questionnaire.
Monitor for and grade early signs of CRS and ICANS, escalating promptly to the on-call APP whenever findings fall outside protocol thresholds.
Coordinate monitoring schedules with partner-site care teams around dosing and treatment timelines.
Provide a clear clinical handoff to the APP monitoring team for any finding that requires judgment beyond RN scope.
Document every encounter — assessments, findings, and escalations — accurately and promptly in the system of record.
Educate patients and caregivers on what to expect during treatment, warning signs to watch for, and when to reach out between scheduled calls.
Maintain active licensure across the states where Chorus operates, and pursue compact or additional state licenses as our partner network grows.
What You'll Bring
A current RN license in good standing in both New York and New Jersey (or eligibility for licensure by endorsement or compact).
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
2+ years of oncology, hematology, or infusion nursing experience.
Comfort assessing patients remotely — by phone and video — and communicating findings clearly and promptly.
Current BLS certification.
Bonus points if you have:
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification.
Multi-state or compact RN licensure.
Prior experience caring for CAR-T, bispecific, or cellular therapy patients.
Experience working within a remote or telehealth care model.
