Provide virtual consultations for members seeking menopause, perimenopause, early fertility, and related hormonal care, with metabolic assessment and management built into routine visits. The work centers on evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow-up through video and phone visits. Clinicians also coordinate labs and referrals, document carefully, and use telehealth tools to support high-quality remote care across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual consultations by video and/or phone for menopause, fertility, and related hormonal and metabolic concerns.
- Conduct assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management within your area(s) of expertise.
- Apply ACOG, ASRM, and The Menopause Society guidelines using individualized shared decision-making.
- Assess and manage metabolic health as a routine part of visits, including anti-obesity medication management when clinically appropriate.
- Document visits accurately and on time, and order and interpret relevant labs.
- Coordinate referrals to primary care, OB/GYN, endocrinology, behavioral health, and subspecialists as needed.
- Use telehealth and EHR systems effectively, and participate in chart audits, case reviews, and protocol refinement.
- Maintain credentialing, payer enrollment, and eligibility for additional state licensure to support broader coverage.
Required
- MD or DO in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Endocrinology; or PA or APRN/NP with demonstrated expertise in the relevant clinical area.
- At least 3-5 years of active clinical experience in early fertility support, menopause care, or both.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- For menopause-focused clinicians, MSCP certification from The Menopause Society or certification actively in progress with a clear completion plan.
- Familiarity with ACOG, ASRM, and The Menopause Society guidelines.
- Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant home workspace with reliable internet.
Preferred
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Multi-state licensure, with IMLC participation strongly preferred.
- Experience spanning both early fertility and menopause care.
- Experience in a dedicated menopause clinic, fertility center, or comparable specialty program.
- Experience prescribing and managing anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists.
- Obesity medicine training or ABOM certification.
- Experience in digital health, health benefits, or multi-state telemedicine environments.
- Experience supporting diverse and historically underserved populations, including LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse individuals.
