Provide part-time virtual consultations for members seeking care in early fertility support, menopause/perimenopause, and low testosterone or men’s health. The work centers on evidence-based assessment, treatment planning, follow-up, and referral when care needs extend beyond telemedicine. Clinicians collaborate with clinical and operational teams across multiple U.S. states and use Carrot’s protocols and systems to support a diverse, inclusive member population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual telemedicine consultations by video or phone for fertility, menopause/perimenopause, and low testosterone or men’s health concerns.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care within telemedicine scope of practice.
- Order, review, and interpret labs; manage medications; and coordinate referrals for higher-acuity or in-person care.
- Document visits, treatment plans, monitoring protocols, informed consent, and member education in Carrot systems.
- Use evidence-based, guideline-aligned care informed by ACOG, ASRM, The Menopause Society, AUA, and Endocrine Society standards.
- Communicate in an inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive manner with a diverse member population.
- Partner with clinical and operational teams while following escalation pathways, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain licensure, credentialing, compliance, and continuing education requirements for multi-state telemedicine practice.
Required
- U.S.-licensed clinician in MD, DO, PA, NP, or APRN role with relevant clinical experience.
- Active, unrestricted clinical license in at least one U.S. state.
- 3-5+ years of active clinical experience in early fertility support, menopause, low testosterone/andropause, or both.
- For menopause practice, MSCP certification from The Menopause Society is required or actively in progress.
- Ability to commit to approximately 10-15 hours per month.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and telemedicine privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred
- Experience across both early fertility and menopause or low testosterone/men’s health.
- Experience in a dedicated menopause clinic, men’s health/urology center, or comparable specialty program.
- Familiarity with early fertility workup, including AMH testing, ovulation induction, and preconception optimization.
- Obesity medicine training, ABOM certification, or metabolic health experience.
- Prior experience in digital health, health benefits, or multi-state telemedicine environments.
- Experience supporting LGBTQ+ or gender-diverse populations.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced remote setting with evolving workflows.
