Independent physician reviewers will assess de-identified oncology cases and assign adverse event grades using NCI CTCAE criteria, with a focus on treatment-related toxicity and clinical safety review. The work centers on structured validation of AI-enabled adverse event grading and includes calibration or onboarding as needed to support consistent review. This is a remote, study-based assignment for board-certified oncologists comfortable working from standardized case summaries and documenting decisions in a required format.
Key Responsibilities
- Review de-identified oncology case summaries and assign adverse event grades
- Apply NCI CTCAE v5.0 or v6.0 criteria to treatment-related toxicities
- Use clinical judgment to validate oncology adverse event assessments
- Follow structured study instructions and documentation standards
- Complete assigned reviews within the agreed study timeline
- Participate in calibration or onboarding sessions
- Document grading decisions in the required study format
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with study privacy requirements
Required
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Oncology
- At least 3 years of clinical oncology experience
- Experience assessing oncology adverse events, treatment-related toxicities, or clinical safety events
- Familiarity with CTCAE grading
- Active, unrestricted US medical license
Preferred
- Prior experience in oncology clinical trials
- Experience as a clinical investigator, medical monitor, safety reviewer, adjudicator, or physician chart reviewer
- Familiarity with oncology drug safety, pharmacovigilance, or adverse event reporting
- GCP certification
- Human Subjects Protection or CITI training
- HIPAA or equivalent privacy training
- Experience with MedDRA terminology
- Experience reviewing de-identified clinical records or structured EHR-derived case summaries
