This role is a remote, supervisory-only psychiatry position focused on child and adolescent behavioral health. The clinician supports Nurse Practitioners through chart review, case consultation, and clinical guidance rather than direct patient care. The work is fully virtual and centers on quality, collaboration, and access in a telehealth setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Nurse Practitioners.
- Conduct chart reviews and audits to support care quality.
- Coordinate with Clinical Supervisors to maintain consistent virtual behavioral health workflows.
- Participate in consultation on patient cases and internal practice standards.
- Use telehealth tools, video communication, and EHR systems in day-to-day work.
- Respond to texts, phone calls, and emails during business hours.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Ability to obtain additional state licensure.
- Experience working with child and adolescent mental health patients.
- Active DEA registration.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred
- Child and adolescent psychiatry board certification.
- Prior experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners.
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Experience with addiction, SMI, SUD, or dual diagnosis.
- Experience with managed care, Medicaid, and private payers.
- Florida, Illinois, or New York state licensure.
- Spanish language proficiency.
