Provide remote pediatric urgent care visits for children and families, with a focus on near-instant, evidence-based evaluation and treatment. The work centers on high-volume on-call coverage for common acute pediatric concerns, with overflow visits outside scheduled shifts as needed. Clinicians collaborate closely with other physicians and customer support in a tech-enabled, home-based care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote pediatric urgent care visits for children and families.
- Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for acute pediatric concerns.
- Coordinate care with other physicians and customer support to support a holistic patient experience.
- Manage visits efficiently in an EMR and handle multiple cases at once.
- Participate in on-call coverage during high-volume evening and weekend hours.
- Take overflow visits outside scheduled on-call time when available.
- Support a patient experience that is responsive, empathetic, and parent-centered.
Required
- MD or DO with training in pediatrics or pediatric care.
- Current licensure and credentials appropriate for pediatric telehealth practice.
- Experience managing an EMR and working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Availability for 10-12 hours of on-call time per week, primarily evenings and weekends.
- No conflict of interest with a competing pediatric telehealth company.
Preferred
- Experience with pediatric telehealth or remote urgent care.
- Strong multitasking skills and comfort with high-volume virtual visits.
- Prior work in a collaborative, mission-driven clinical team.
