Provide evidence-based speech and language evaluations and therapy for pediatric patients within an interdisciplinary mental health and developmental care setting. This role includes identifying children who may benefit from short-term intensive SLP treatment and creating appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with specialty providers. Work is primarily remote, with occasional onsite coverage as needed and a schedule that includes weekday afternoons/evenings or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for new and existing pediatric patients.
- Provide short-term therapy sessions for children identified for intensive SLP treatment.
- Collaborate with specialty providers and care team members to develop treatment plans.
- Document evaluations and care in the electronic medical record.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in interdisciplinary care coordination.
- Maintain clinical availability for afternoon/evening weekday or weekend evaluations.
- Use evidence-based practice to guide assessment and treatment decisions.
Required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- At least 2 years of experience providing speech and language services.
- Experience with telehealth.
Preferred
- Clinical experience working with children in a pediatric setting.
