This clinician provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults in a pediatric behavioral health setting. Care is delivered through a hybrid model with both virtual visits and regular in-person time, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients and families while monitoring safety and treatment progress. The role works within an interdisciplinary team and includes coordination around testing, documentation, and family education.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for pediatric and young adult patients.
- Provide individualized treatment planning and medication management.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families through education, support, and ongoing engagement.
- Monitor progress toward care goals and adjust treatment as needed to support safety and outcomes.
- Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and other clinicians on integrated care plans.
- Participate in weekly team and supervisory clinical meetings.
- Oversee diagnostic testing, including digital and lab results.
- Maintain thorough, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation.
Required
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
- PMHNP-BC certification.
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure.
- Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license.
- DEA license and state prescriptive authority.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
