Provide virtual individual therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults, using evidence-based approaches tailored to developmental stage and neurodiverse needs. Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and families, monitor progress toward care goals, and support engagement in treatment. Work remotely with a collaborative interdisciplinary team in a pediatric mental health setting that also offers in-person options.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2-26.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to developmental and neurodiverse populations.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families and provide education about treatment approaches.
- Monitor patient progress against care goals and adjust treatment as needed.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care.
- Participate in weekly clinical consultations for feedback and clinical support.
- Maintain thorough clinical documentation and patient records.
Required
- Active independent license in New Jersey as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents.
- At least 1 year of experience in telehealth or a virtual care setting.
- Ability to provide care during core evening and weekend hours.
- Own phone, computer, and high-speed internet.
Preferred
- Experience working with young adults in addition to children and adolescents.
- Experience caring for developmental and neurodiverse populations.
- Comfort using Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms.
- Interest in collaborative, team-based pediatric behavioral health care.
