Provide virtual individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults, with a focus on evidence-based care that is tailored to developmental stage and neurodiverse needs. You will spend time with patients and families to build rapport, educate them about treatment, and support engagement and progress toward care goals. This role also involves working with an interdisciplinary team, participating in clinical consultation, and delivering care during after-school, evening, and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2-26.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to developmental and neurodiverse populations.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families to support engagement in treatment.
- Educate patients and families about therapeutic approaches and ongoing care needs.
- Monitor progress toward care goals and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to support coordinated care.
- Participate in weekly clinical consultations for feedback, support, and skill development.
- Maintain thorough clinical documentation and patient records.
Required
- Independently licensed as an LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW-C, or PsyD/PhD in Maryland.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
- Ability to provide care during core hours that include after 4 pm on weekdays and weekends.
- Own phone, computer, and high-speed internet.
Preferred
- Experience working with young adults in addition to children and adolescents.
- Experience supporting developmental and neurodiverse populations.
- Comfort using Google Suite, electronic medical records, and virtual care platforms.
- Experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary care settings.
