Provide virtual and in-person intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, with a focus on developmental, behavioral, and neurodiverse-informed assessment. Build rapport with patients and families, explain treatment options, and help match each patient to appropriate ongoing care. This hybrid role also involves coordinated care planning with clinicians and medical providers, with intake sessions scheduled after school, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual intake evaluations via telehealth and in person for youth ages 2-26.
- Provide evidence-based clinical assessments tailored to developmental stage and individual needs.
- Educate patients and families about therapeutic approaches and the next steps in care.
- Develop individualized care plans and support referral to the most appropriate ongoing provider.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including clinicians, medical providers, and families.
- Maintain thorough intake documentation and patient records in the EMR.
- Participate in optional weekly clinical consultations.
Required
- Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD in Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescent patients.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
- Ability to use a phone, computer, and high-speed internet.
- Availability for at least 8 hours per week during core after-school, evening, and weekend hours.
Preferred
- Experience working with young adults ages 18-26.
- Experience conducting assessments across developmental stages and neurodiverse populations.
- Comfort using Google Suite, electronic medical records, and virtual care platforms.
