Provide brief telehealth intake and initial evaluations for older adults with behavioral health and advocacy needs, helping determine who is appropriate for Baba’s care support program. Work with patients facing mental health concerns alongside medical and health-related social needs, with a focus on coordinating next steps and identifying barriers to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct brief virtual intake visits and initial psychiatric evaluations.
- Identify patient needs and determine suitability for advocacy support.
- Oversee care plans in partnership with nurses and social workers.
- Address behavioral health concerns alongside social determinants of health such as food access, transportation, and support at home.
- Collaborate with the technology team to help shape AI tools and clinical workflows.
- Use EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth workflows in daily practice.
- Participate in a fast-paced startup environment and support the development of a new care model.
Required
- Board certification in adult psychiatry.
- Active membership in the IMLC with 50-state registration.
- Experience caring for Medicare-aged patients.
- Experience delivering care via telehealth.
- Proficiency with EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth workflows.
Preferred
- Experience working with adults who have behavioral health, medical, and health-related social needs.
- Bilingual skills.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup or building new care programs.
