Provide video-based psychiatric assessments and behavioral health support for children, adolescents, and patients across the lifespan in a fully remote setting. The role includes de-escalation, stabilization, collateral gathering, documentation in the partner EMR, and written recommendations for next steps in care. Work is collaborative and multidisciplinary, with a strong telepsychiatry model and support for maintaining needed licenses and credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct video-based behavioral health assessments with patients.
- Provide de-escalation and stabilization support as needed.
- Collect collateral information by phone or video from other sources.
- Analyze psychosocial and interpersonal factors to inform clinical understanding.
- Provide written recommendations for the next level of assessment or care.
- Maintain documentation in the partner site’s EMR.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and provide observational feedback.
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for patients.
Required
- PMHNP certification.
- Active state license.
- At least 2 years of experience since obtaining licensure.
- Ability to work in a 100% remote telepsychiatry setting.
- Private office space for confidentiality.
