Provide virtual endocrinology care for women with hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health concerns, including conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, and perimenopause. The role centers on thorough assessments, personalized treatment planning, patient education, prescribing when clinically appropriate, and ongoing follow-up through video visits. Clinicians work within a multidisciplinary care team and handle charting and patient messages as part of longitudinal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans via video visits.
- Provide ongoing endocrine care for women with hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health conditions.
- Educate patients on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated care.
- Complete timely documentation, charting, and maintenance of accurate patient records.
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages with clarity and care.
- Use prescribing authority when clinically appropriate.
- Participate in required training and follow clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Board eligibility in Endocrinology through ABIM, with commitment to obtain board certification within one year of hire.
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- Ability to work independently with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.
Preferred
- Women’s health experience.
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Comfort working across EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
