Provide virtual endocrinology care for women with hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health concerns, including conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, and perimenopause. The role centers on longitudinal video visits with personalized treatment plans, patient education, prescribing when appropriate, and timely follow-up in a fully remote setting. Care is delivered in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and supported by evidence-based workflows, charting, and patient messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans during video visits.
- Provide longitudinal endocrine care for women across hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated patient management.
- Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies.
- Use clinical judgment to prescribe medications when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate medical records and complete charting in a timely manner.
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages with clarity and care.
- Participate in required training and follow clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Board-eligible in Endocrinology through ABIM, with commitment to obtain board certification within one year of hire.
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- Ability to work independently with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.
Preferred
- Women’s health experience.
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Comfort working across EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a virtual bedside manner.
