Provide outpatient psychiatric care for women with mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD, with an emphasis on the intersection of hormonal and mental health. This role also supports launch planning by helping build clinical protocols, behavioral health safety processes, and hiring standards, then continues with case consultations and escalation support after launch. Care is fully remote and part-time, with a consulting structure that includes close collaboration with clinical and operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clinical protocols for treating depression, anxiety, and PMDD, including medication management and therapeutic approaches.
- Design behavioral health safety and escalation workflows.
- Build a hiring rubric and assessment framework for PMHNP candidates.
- Participate in PMHNP interviews with the clinical team.
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care for a panel of patients after launch.
- Provide case consultations for complex clinical questions.
- Support ad hoc clinical escalations.
Required
- Active board certification in Psychiatry through ABPN or AOBNP.
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered medical license in California, Florida, New York, or Texas, or willingness to obtain an IMLC state license in one of those states.
- At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience as a practicing psychiatrist.
- Outpatient psychiatry experience.
- Experience treating women’s mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and PMDD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual care.
Preferred
- Prior experience in telehealth or a high-growth care delivery environment.
- Experience designing behavioral health safety and escalation protocols.
