Provide virtual longitudinal care for women with complex hormonal and metabolic conditions, including PCOS, thyroid disorders, perimenopause/menopause, metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes, and mild to moderate anxiety or depression. You will assess patients via video visits, develop individualized treatment plans, and offer prescribing and medical guidance when clinically appropriate. The role also includes preventive care education, timely documentation, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans during video visits.
- Provide longitudinal care for hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health conditions in women.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete charting in a timely manner.
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages with clarity and care.
- Provide medical guidance and prescribing when clinically appropriate.
- Complete required trainings and follow clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Active board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- At least 2 years of consecutive clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with women’s health experience.
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- Strong diagnostic judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a virtual bedside manner.
Preferred
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Experience caring for PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, menopause/perimenopause, PMDD, obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, or mild to moderate anxiety/depression.
- Comfort working across EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
