Provide virtual psychiatric care for people receiving addiction treatment, with a focus on stimulant use disorder and alcohol use disorder. You will complete telehealth evaluations, monitor progress through ongoing follow-up visits, and adjust medications as clinically appropriate. The role is supported by counselors and case managers and uses a mobile app, EHR workflows, and clinical protocols to coordinate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth evaluations after members complete biopsychosocial intakes.
- Monitor member progress through monthly follow-up appointments.
- Prescribe medications as needed and respond to member questions.
- Complete documentation in the EHR and follow established clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with counselors, case managers, and internal team members.
- Participate in occasional scheduled meetings with internal teams.
Required
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.
- Full-practice authority as a licensed PMHNP.
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction treatment.
- Experience prescribing Suboxone.
- Active DEA registration.
- Ability to work from a private, quiet home office with reliable internet.
Preferred
- Medicaid enrollment.
- Experience with technology, including EHRs and mobile apps.
- Multi-state licensure, or willingness to obtain it.
