Provide telemedicine consultations for patients seeking care through a digital health platform, with a focus on internal medicine, family medicine, and often obesity medicine or endocrinology. Care is delivered synchronously and asynchronously, with prescribing, lifestyle counseling, and documentation handled in a custom EMR. The role supports a broad range of needs across mental health, women’s health, men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare, with technology designed to reduce administrative burden and improve continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous and asynchronous telemedicine consultations in accordance with state telemedicine regulations.
- Evaluate patient records, assess symptoms, and make diagnoses within the scope of the platform.
- Provide prescribing support and recommend appropriate treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
- Document encounters and follow company-specific best practices for diagnosis, treatment, and charting.
- Answer patient questions and provide counseling related to treatment plans.
- Use the custom EMR and technology tools to support safe, efficient virtual care delivery.
Required
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical licensure in 3-5 states, including at least two of CA, TX, FL, NY, PA, or IL.
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience.
- Telemedicine experience.
Preferred
- Board certification or training in Obesity Medicine and/or Endocrinology.
- Emergency Medicine board certification, if also board certified in Obesity Medicine.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technological fluency with virtual care tools and workflows.
