Provide virtual primary care and weight loss visits for patients through text and video consultations, with a focus on diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions. This role also includes patient education, follow-up for ongoing care programs, and medication management in a telehealth setting. The clinician works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff within a tech-enabled care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct text-based and video-based telemedicine consultations for virtual primary care and weight loss patients.
- Provide clinical assessment and treatment for acute and chronic care concerns.
- Educate patients on treatment options and personalized care plans.
- Coordinate follow-up care to support continuity in ongoing programs.
- Prescribe medications and provide timely refills as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff in delivering remote care.
- Serve as a supervising physician for the telehealth practice.
Required
- Board-certified Family Medicine physician.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience.
- Primary care experience treating acute and chronic conditions.
- Active medical licensure in Georgia.
- Ability and willingness to serve as a supervising physician.
- Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications for weight loss.
Preferred
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Strong technology comfort and ability to work in a digital care platform.
