Provide episodic, consultative medical dermatology care for a diverse patient population, with a focus on inflammatory skin disease, infections, autoimmune conditions, acne, hair and nail disorders, and skin cancer screening. This part-time role includes in-person clinic travel twice per month, with remote follow-up on biopsy results and opportunities to support a virtual care team. You will collaborate with primary care clinicians and may also contribute to clinical resource development, curbsides, and quality improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide episodic, consultative dermatology visits for medical skin care needs.
- Diagnose and manage inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, acne, hair, nail, and skin cancer screening concerns.
- Collaborate with local primary care physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Perform biopsies and follow up on results remotely.
- Serve as a clinical resource for complex dermatology cases and patient education materials.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and dermatology care protocols.
- Travel to clinic sites twice per month to deliver care.
Required
- Board certification in Dermatology.
- Active medical license in Texas.
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in medical dermatology.
- Experience managing complex dermatologic conditions across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.
- Comfort working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to the clinic site up to two times per month.
- Current full vaccination status, including required COVID-19 booster.
Preferred
- Experience supporting virtual care teams.
- Experience creating patient-facing educational resources.
- Prior involvement in quality improvement or clinical protocol development.
