Provide synchronous video visits for adults with cardiometabolic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia. The work focuses on real-time assessment, treatment recommendations, prescribing, and referrals within the scope of each telehealth encounter. This is a virtual, independent contractor role with documentation completed in the platform’s EHR.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled synchronous telehealth consultations for patients with cardiometabolic conditions.
- Perform medical assessments, review patient histories, and address concerns during the visit.
- Provide medical recommendations, prescriptions, or referrals consistent with licensure and standards of care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
- Limit care delivery to information generated during the synchronous visit.
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active medical license in California.
- Active board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Experience treating cardiometabolic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver care virtually.

- Prior telemedicine experience.
