Lead clinical oversight for a virtual specialty care provider network serving adults with obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. This role focuses on supervising clinicians, maintaining evidence-based care quality, and strengthening documentation, performance, and patient experience in a telehealth environment. It also supports clinical onboarding, training, and cross-functional work with operations, product, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chart reviews, audits, and quality assurance processes to monitor clinical standards.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management for NPs, W2 MDs, and 1099 physicians.
- Lead onboarding and training for new providers on care models, workflows, and technology platforms.
- Establish expectations for clinical quality, documentation, productivity, and patient experience.
- Coordinate with Provider Operations to address escalations, remediation plans, and provider support needs.
- Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and outcome monitoring.
- Provide clinical input into protocols, care pathways, product development, and scaling efforts.
- Support regulatory and compliance initiatives related to clinical practice.
Required
- MD, DO, or NP with an active, unrestricted license.
- At least 7 years of clinical experience, including telehealth or virtual care.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing or supervising providers.
- Strong track record of improving clinical quality and provider performance.
- Experience working collaboratively with operations and product teams.
Preferred
- Experience in telehealth, digital health, or value-based care models.
- Experience managing both W2 and 1099 provider populations.
- Background in developing clinical protocols or care models.
- Multi-state licensure.
